LOS ANGELES — Post-pokey Paris Hilton is undoubtedly looking better these days, having shed her extensions and sporting panties as she parties.

Now, the heiress-turned-music-maker is ready to enter the next phase of her not-so "Simple Life" and have a baby — at least within the next two years.

"Seeing Nicole [Richie] just makes me want to be a mom," she told Pop Tarts at Tuesday night's "Share the Passion" party celebrating the one-year anniversary of Nissan Live Sets on Yahoo! Music.

"I’m like, 'Oh, my God, I need a baby now' because I want our kids to be able to play together like we did when we were 2 years old, so not yet but hopefully in the next two years."

Hilton also said that Richie's pregnancy has caused the on-and-off best friends to trot down memory lane.

"I’m so happy. Nicole and I had lunch yesterday and we were looking through all our pictures," Hilton said. "We’re both so excited, and she’s so happy and she looks so beautiful. I just can’t wait to see the baby."

It takes two to make a baby, however, and Hilton is enlisting a little help from the North Pole in her search for a man to do the "Simple" deed.

"On my Christmas wish list this year is just to be with my family and just be happy and find a nice boyfriend," she said.

But Hilton's future mini-mogul had better be ready to hear his/her mama make music and take on the world.

"I just did my Asia tour. I went to Korea and China and Tokyo in the past two weeks. It’s incredible — I’ve never been there before and it was a lot of fun just being out there and doing a lot of business, and I’m going to go back again next year and hopefully a lot more in the future, too," Hilton told us.

(Nov. 28) - As her due date nears, Nicole Richie swears that she and Joel Madden are waiting to find out what the sex of their child will be.

"We don’t know actually," she tells Billy Bush of Access Hollywood. "We're waiting to find out, which has been a lot harder on me than it has on Joel because I’m so nosy. I like to know everything. But if he wasn’t at every doctor's appointment, I probably would have found out by now just behind his back and not told him."



Richie is in her eighth month of pregnancy, but found the time to sit down for an interview in high heels and ponder what her child will make of the couple's many tattoos.

"I actually have a theory," she says. "I think that whether we have, a boy or a girl, they’re going to be so embarrassed of Joel’s tattoos and my tattoos, because I have nine, because you never want to like your parents."

Is Richie's father, Lionel Richie ready for his new role as grandpa? "It's all he talks about, actually," she says.

Nicole Richie insists that her baby, not a wedding, is the first thing on her mind as she enters the final stretch heading to her due date.

“Will you get married?” Bush asked.

“Eventually, yeah,” she says. "Look how much has happened this year. I mean, just let me rest a little bit, you know. I gotta hold something for when I get older. I can’t have everything happen all in one year."
